Check-In
When arriving at the Check-In kiosk, please provide the attendant with your Last Name or Chamberlands address. If needed the attendant may ask for ID. Once you have been verified, a wristband will be issued to you. Guests/Renters must be added to the account by the owner/representative if the owner is not going to be present during time of visit. Wristbands will only be physically distributed to owners, guests and renters that have been added to the Membersplash system. Guests not in the system must be accompanied by the owner.
Please cooperate with our lifeguard staff and distribute this information to your guests and renters. Lifeguards will be on duty daily beginning Saturday June 20, 2026 through Monday September 7, 2026, from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm. - WRISTBANDS must be worn while on the beach.
- MEMBERS are permitted to bring guests not staying in their home. RENTERS DO NOT have this privilege.
- UMBRELLAS must be secured so that they will not blow across the beach.
- SWIM only within areas designated with float lines. No swimming under platforms. No diving off platforms. No hanging on rope lines.
- NO BOAT launching, wind surfing, or jet skis are permitted in the swim areas. Jet Skis MAY NOT be moored on the piers or poles at the baby beach. Paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes may be launched from and brought ashore on the public beach, not within the defined swim areas. An area adjacent to the south side of the big beach will be designate for daily (not over night) parking of Paddle Boards and kayaks.
- FIRE/BBQ’s are prohibited.
- CURFEW Members, renters, quests, and the general public are prohibited from accessing the beach from 10 p.m. until dawn. Exceptions to this curfew: 11 p.m. curfew when scheduled movies on the beach (Fun flicks) are sponsored by the CBMC, during Perseid meteor shower (August 13th) each yr. and 2 hours after the Fireworks conclude in Tahoe City on the 4th of July.
- CHILDREN under the age of 11 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult when swimming in the lake. For these purposes, adult is defined as a person who is at least 18 years old.
- NO SMOKING Smoking is not permitted in or near any association common area. Smoking is also prohibited in any National or State park.
- NO GLASS allowed on the beach. This is for the future safety of all.
- NO BIKES, motorized vehicles, skateboards or roller blades allowed past the check–in stand.
- NO DOGS allowed on private beach. The Forest Service does allow dogs on the public beach.
- NO CANOPIES or enclosures exceeding a 3′ x 6′ footprint may be erected on the private beach. The Forest Service does not have this restriction on the public beach.
- NO AMPLIFIED music.
- NO items may be stored after 10 p.m., anywhere on the lakeside of Highway 89.
- NO Non–Member access to the bar from the baby beach. Must use Public Beach 300 Ft South.
- MEMBERS, GUESTS and RENTERS are expected to maintain safe and respectful behavior.
